I came across this incredible piece of audio porn while watching one of Rastaxel’s mind-bending poi videos. The man knows how to pick awesome backing tracks to go with amazing poi moves. Nick finally OK’d Karen’s video that’s been floating around the Facebooks in secret (shh) for the last month or so and I can now officially share it with the world. Honestly, don’t go to Bali. It’s a horrible place and there is no fun to be had there whatsoever. It’s really cold, wet, boring and there are no fun people there at all. Oh wait.

So, the latest DiRT rally game, DiRT3 is coming out in a month or so and one of the trailers I saw had an absolutely stunning soundtrack. So I looked it up on YouTube and it turns out it was used in some rather spectacular videos – like this one!

My friend Kristoff re-introduced me to this tune. It’s been kicking around my hard disk for a while now, but it’s been like a splinter at the back of my mind. A ferrofluid is a made up of nanoscale ferrous particles suspended in a carrier fluid such as an oil or even water. They behave in a similar fashion to non-Newtonian fluids in the sense that you can do some rather funky stuff with them.
