Luvstep

Sean at Gyropulse posted this and it’s frankly amazing!

Here’s what he had to say about it:

This collaboration is sure to wet your eardrums, and will continue to do so for well over an hour. As described by Dirty South Joe and Flufftronix, Luvstep is the sound of electronic gruv glide inside lazer guided lullabies. It’s a return to innocence through experience, best expressed with headphones or in bedrooms. It’s melody for the mess we’re in – the love, the lust, the loss, the lies, the light & the life!” So grab your favorite skill toy. Play with it for a little bit. Now put it down. Pick up another toy, because you’ve still got plenty of time to play. Put that down. Order a new toy online, and just groove while you wait for it to come in the mail…

As Dirty Joe South Puts explains these fat beats:

Luvstep was born at a time when dubstep seemed to be heading to an almost comical and very cliched place. It’s reputation was that exclusively of burners and bros (at least from a North American perspective,) and there was a whole other side to it that hadn’t really been focused on at that point. We (Michael “Flufftronix” Lasday and myself) just wanted to make a mix that focused on feeling and emotion as well as the boom, that people could enjoy in a variety of settings. It’s the latest in a long line of classic make out music…where sinewy slow jams meet nasty wobbles and filthy basslines.
