I’ve been hunting for this song for the best part of a year. Imagine my delight at having found it, at last!

Pretty Lights’ new track, “I Know The Truth” has just the right mix of ground-shaking bass, huge drops and wonderfully suspense-filled buildups! Check this out!

So, in case you have been living under a rock – Beardyman is a beatboxer/comedian/musician who makes up ridiculous sets like this one. It’s really quite fascinating what can be achieved with a Kaoss pad and a bit of creativity!

Beats Antique have released a new album called Blind Threshold and it’s rather tasty. It’s also downloadable for free from their site, though I’d recommend donating to them regardless – they’re an amazing collective of musicians and deserve your support! Someone at work plugged this bad boy into the sound system and it’s sublime! Röyksopp never fails to make more awesome. The buildup in this tune is spectacular but doesn’t leave you waiting as much as some tunes do, for which I have massive respect. Also, it strikes me as a badass tribal bellydance tune! Some more delightful downtempo chillstep tunes came my way yesterday and of all of them, I think I like this one the most. It’s a lovely take on the stereotypical dubstep structure, but without the driving melodies and earth-shattering basslines. Instead, it’s light and airy with a hint of dark, dirty bass. I came across this lovely ambient tune while listening to Groove Salad on SomaFM. SomaFM is a great electronic music station that’s got a loyal following of thousands of connoisseurs of electronica, ambient beats and almighty chill.
